RWOC: Soteria CDC -

Soteria Community Development Corporation (CDC) is a non-profit organization that provides goods and services to low income individuals and families in Greenville County and upstate South Carolina. The primary purpose of the organization is to empower individuals and families to be self-sufficient and sustaining through the following services:

• financial budgeting and credit repair workshops;
• education and counseling for first time home buyers and home ownership through affordable housing;
• counseling and assistance with affordable rental housing for low-to-moderate income families;
• employment opportunities and entrepreneurship;
• educational classes in community and economic development; and
• transitional housing and support for men and women whose lives have been impacted by crime.

Additionally, Soteria CDC is committed to empowering and assisting individuals to reach their full potential through planning skills, goal setting, positive decision making, and an overall responsible lifestyle through its vital services to the upstate community.
