RFMI executive Assistant / RFMI Office Manager

Classification:
Full-time, salaried, exempt

Hours:
Monday – Thursday, 8am – 6pm; approximately 40 hours per week plus additional hours as needed for special events and projects

Objective:
Provide executive support to Bishop Paul Gaehring, RFMI President, to meet goals and objectives as RFMI supports Pastor Ron Carpenter’s vision for Redemption, and to do so as unto the Lord. 

Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent; some college or formal business training and a minimum of five years of executive support experience 
 
Candidates will test to show demonstrated proficiency of Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint & Outlook and must possess excellent organization and communication skills with the physical ability to stoop, bend and lift up to 25 pounds. The ability to multi-task, be diligent with details, follow directions, take initiative, stay on task, be flexible, follow-through and accomplish all of this with grace in a busy office. Working knowledge of social media platforms would be beneficial. It is preferred that the individual be a Redemption member and be a RFMI member or spouse is a member. A ministerial background would be preferable as well. 



iChurch Administrative Coordinator

Classification:
Full-time, 40 hours a week; hourly, non-exempt
 

Hours:
Monday through Thursday, 8am-6pm; additional hours required during conferences, Sunday services and special events
 
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
  • Submitted and committed to the vision of the Senior Pastor and heart of Redemption
  • 2 years of work experience in an administrative support role
  • Proficient in computer and typing skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook & social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ease with praying with individuals with prayer requests by email or phone
  • Proven ability to use discretion with matters of confidentiality




Parent Pager Specialist
 
Reports To:
Children’s Ministry Director
 
Classification:
Part-Time, less than 20 hours per week; hourly; non-exempt
 
Hours:
Sunday and Wednesday services as assigned, plus special events as needed
 
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Submitted and committed to the vision of REDEMPTION and Power Source Children’s Ministry
  • Prior experience with a Children’s Ministry preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic computer skills with attention to detail
  • Friendly and enthusiastic with great customer service skills

Objective:
Assist parents and guardians with the registration of children using the Parent Pager system and attend to any needs or questions presented by parents, guardians or children at the Power Source or Preschool Information Desks.



Redemption Charlotte Children's Ministry Coordinator
Part-time; hourly; non-exempt status
 
Sunday – 7:30AM to 3:00PM, additional hours as needed (to be determined by the Campus Pastor) plus other Special Events as needed

  • High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
  • Minimum 2 years prior experience in a Children’s Ministry
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in leading teams of volunteers
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the area of mentorship
  • Proven organizational & communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively & "outside the box”

Higher Grounds Café Baker
Part-time working 20 or more hours per week; hourly; non-exempt
 
Hours:
Sunday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Wednesday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm, Thursday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm,
Friday 8:00 – 12:00 pm; Plus Special Events and Conferences as needed.
 
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a baker in a restaurant, bakery, and/or catering business
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess a working knowledge of operating/handling commercial kitchen equipment
  • Quality of baking must have great presentation and taste must be pleasing to the palate
  • Able to display a high level of creativity in the quality of work presented
  • Familiarity with DHEC regulations for restaurants preferred
 
Objective:
Provide delicious desserts, excellent customer service and a clean and friendly work environment in the Higher Grounds Café.



Preschool Lead Teacher
Part-time working less than 20 hours per week; hourly, non-exempt

Hours:
Various classrooms and work schedules
Work scheduled will be determined by the assigned service(s) as indicated plus additional hours for Special Events as needed

Qualifications for Position:
  • At least 18 years of age with satisfactory completion of a nationwide criminal background check and reference check
  • Passion for Preschool Ministry with 6 months of previous volunteer or work experience in a day care, church nursery, Children’s Ministry or other childcare program
  • Active member of RWOC preferred
  • Ability to read and teach from a prescribed curriculum
  • Willingness to minister, sing, play, create crafts and interact positively with children
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills, especially in dealing with parents and caregivers
  • Understanding of basic first aid and child/infant CPR preferred

Objective:
To ensure the safety and care of all children attending our Preschool classrooms while sharing the love of Christ through Bible lessons, songs, interactive play and ministry.



Product Duplication Assistant
TEMPORARY; hourly; non-exempt status
 
 
Hours:
Monday through Thursday, (flexible schedule); up to 10 hours per week for Special Projects
 
 
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient computer skills with at least 1 year of work experience (knowledge of PrintMaster and Adobe Acrobat a plus)
  • Physical ability to lift 10-15 pounds
  • Physical ability to stand on feet for long periods of time
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks at one time & make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational & top notch people skills

Facility Attendant FLOATER          
Part-time working less than 20 hours per week (Subject to approved schedule); hourly, non-exempt

 Pay Rate:
$10-11 per hour based on experience; commission eligible

Hours:
Scheduled on an as-needed basis to cover staffing shortage, such as vacations and medical leaves of absence, plus special events.

 Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
  • Minimum one year of work experience in a customer service, receptionist or administrative position
  • Personal commitment to an active and healthy lifestyle
  • Prior cash handling or cash register experience

Fit-KiDz Childcare Associate - Floater
Temporary; hourly, non-exempt
 
Hours as needed per availability
Monday - Friday 7:45 AM–12:00 PM, 3:45 PM – 8:00 PM or until close
Saturday 9:45 AM – 2:00 PM or until close
 
Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Minimum of 6 months work or volunteer experience working with children in an active environment
  • Physical ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift a minimum of 30 pounds and participate in moderate exercise activities
