The Movement Student Ministry Administrative Coordinator

Report To:
Director of Student Ministry

Full-time, hourly, non-exempt

Hours:
Current Schedule until March 2015:
Monday & Tuesday – 8 AM to 5:30 PM
Wednesday –  9AM to 9PM
Thursday – 8AM to 5PM
 
New Schedule as of March 2015:
Sunday –  930AM to 230PM
Monday & Tuesday – 9AM to 5PM,
Wednesday –  9AM to 5PM, with once a month additional hours of 5PM to  9PM
(will adjust schedule and come in at 10AM that day)
Thursday 9AM to 5PM

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
  • Two years of prior work experience in an administrative role, preferably supporting a Department Manager
  • Recent volunteer or work experience in Youth Ministry strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Outlook, Excel, Publisher and Power Point
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles, such as budgeting, purchasing and forecasting
  • Working knowledge of social media outlets, such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram; ability to use proper social media etiquette and grammar
  • Working knowledge of Text Signal preferred
  • Familiarity with production of live and recorded events a plus
  • Excellent organization and communication skills

Food Services Administrative Coordinator

Hours:
Sundays 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Mondays & Tuesdays 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
Wednesdays 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Thursdays 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
Plus additional hours as needed for special events and conferences
 
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum two years prior experience in an administrative support role
At least 1 year cash handling experience
10 key calculator experience preferred
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent organization and communication skills
Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds on occasion
Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion
 
Objective:
To provide administrative support to the Food Service Director, staff members, and volunteers while serving as the primary point of contact for all interdepartmental communications within REDEMPTION



Parent Pager Specialist
 
Reports To:      
Children’s Ministry Director
  
Classification:
Part-Time, less than 20 hours per week; hourly; non-exempt 
 
Hours:
Sunday and Wednesday services as assigned, plus special events as needed
  
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Submitted and committed to the vision of REDEMPTION and Power Source Children’s Ministry
  • Prior experience with a Children’s Ministry preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic computer skills with attention to detail
  • Friendly and enthusiastic with great customer service skills
Objective:
Assist parents and guardians with the registration of children using the Parent Pager system and attend to any needs or questions presented by parents, guardians or children at the Power Source or Preschool Information Desks.

REDEMPTION CHARLOTTE CHILDREN’S MINISTRY COORDINATOR
Part-time; hourly; non-exempt status
 
Sunday – 7:30AM to 3:00PM, additional hours as needed (to be determined by the Campus Pastor) plus other Special Events as needed 

  • High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
  • Minimum 2 years prior experience in a Children’s Ministry
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in leading teams of volunteers
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the area of mentorship
  • Proven organizational & communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively & "outside the box”
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. PowerPoint, Word, Excel, & Outlook)



HIGHER GROUNDS CAFÉ BAKER
Part-time working 20 or more hours per week; hourly; non-exempt
 
Hours:
Sunday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Wednesday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm, Thursday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm,
Friday 8:00 – 12:00 pm; Plus Special Events and Conferences as needed.
 
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a baker in a restaurant, bakery, and/or catering business
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess a working knowledge of operating/handling commercial kitchen equipment
  • Quality of baking must have great presentation and taste must be pleasing to the palate
  • Able to display a high level of creativity in the quality of work presented
  • Familiarity with DHEC regulations for restaurants preferred
 
Objective:
Provide delicious desserts, excellent customer service and a clean and friendly work environment in the Higher Grounds Café.



PRESCHOOL LEAD TEACHER
Part-time working less than 20 hours per week; hourly, non-exempt

Hours:
Various classrooms and work schedules
Work scheduled will be determined by the assigned service(s) as indicated plus additional hours for Special Events as needed

Qualifications for Position:
  • At least 18 years of age with satisfactory completion of a nationwide criminal background check and reference check
  • Passion for Preschool Ministry with 6 months of previous volunteer or work experience in a day care, church nursery, Children’s Ministry or other childcare program
  • Active member of RWOC preferred
  • Ability to read and teach from a prescribed curriculum
  • Willingness to minister, sing, play, create crafts and interact positively with children
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills, especially in dealing with parents and caregivers
  • Understanding of basic first aid and child/infant CPR preferred

To ensure the safety and care of all children attending our Preschool classrooms while sharing the love of Christ through Bible lessons, songs, interactive play and ministry.

Imagine Center Facility Attendant 

Part-time working less than 20 hours per week; hourly, non-exempt
$10-11 per hour based on experience; commission eligible

Hours:
Week A: Sunday – 11AM to 4PM, Wednesday & Friday – 5AM to 11AM
Week B: Monday & Wednesday – 5AM to 11AM, Saturday 6AM – 1PM

FiT-KiDz Childcare Associate – AM & PM SHIFTS
Part-time working 20 or more hours per week; hourly, non-exempt

Hours:
Monday - Friday 7:45 AM – 12:00 PM AND Monday - Friday 3:45 PM – 8:00 PM or until close,
Saturdays as needed 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM or until close; additional hours as needed.
 
 
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Minimum of 6 months work or volunteer experience working with children in an active environment
  • Physical ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift a minimum of 30 pounds and participate in moderate exercise activities
  • Committed to a healthy, active lifestyle
  • CPR and first aid certification required within 3 months of employment

$10 per hour; commission eligible

Hours:
Scheduled on an as-needed basis to cover staffing shortages, such as vacations and medical leaves of absence, plus special events
