We believe that first impressions can make a huge impact, and that creating an accepting, inviting, and safe environment is a must!

People matter to God, therefore they must matter to us. We want guests to experience acceptance, authentic relationships, and a longing to get plugged in. It all begins with meeting people where they are.

The quality of service plays a big part in determining what restaurants, hotels, and other businesses we frequent. The same is true for the local church. When people come to church for the first time, how are they treated? Do guests feel valued? Do they feel like they could fit in?

The First Impressions teams of RWOC exist to provide the warmest atmosphere possible, for guests and members alike. It has been said, first impressions make lasting impressions, and we know this is true. Our goal is to make every person who comes through our doors feel like part of the RWOC family.

As a part of this team, the most important thing you can do is SMILE, say hello, and let people know we are delighted they are at RWOC! You can get involved with First Impressions by volunteering with one of the following teams:

Opportunities

• Baker’s Ministry Team – Bakes banana nut bread for First Time Visitors
• VIP Guides – Assist First Time Guests
• FTV Information Center- Welcomes First Time Visitors with a packet and gift after service
• Telecare Ministry- Calls First Time Visitors
• Greeter’s Ministry- Greet people as they come through our doors
• Information Desk – Provide information about RWOC
• Usher Team – Serve during service
  

Membership Development

The Membership Development Ministry is to assist in the development of new and current members.

1. Experience the Journey Classes

· Church 101 Discovering Church Membership at RWOC

· Essentials 201 Developing church essential habits of a healthy believer

· Discovery 301 Discovering your place in the body of Christ

· Dream Team 401 Joining the RWOC church ministry team

2. Ignite Discipleship Classes

·Classes are held on Monday nights

3.Mentor Ministry

·Help take the new believer to the "next step” in their salvation experience

Men’s Ministry

The Men’s Ministry was created to provide extended fellowship for Christian men. We have small groups designed to keep men focused on their Christian walk by being accountable to one another. This is an excellent ministry to be involved in if your desire is to connect with other Godly men.

There are 3 ways to get involved in the Men’s Ministry.

1. Men’s Corporate Gathering (Quarterly)
2. Men’s Small Groups
3. Men’s Events
