Power Source serves children from birth -5th
grades and is divided into 3 main categories of Preschool, Power Surge, and
High Voltage. We are here to equip
children for ministry now. The
fields are white unto harvest (John 4:35); and the whitest, ripest fruits are
the hearts of the children. For
this reason we must proclaim the Gospel with an empowering passion. The salvation of every child within
reach is the first step, with the second step being to see every child baptized
with fire according to Luke 3:16.
Making effective witnesses of every child is the vision of this
ministry.
Through powerful worship, prayer, and Bible teaching, this
ministry aspires to see the children make lasting relationships with God. Power Source helps children recognize
the gifts within themselves and opportunities are created in which to share and
develop these God-given abilities.
Classes for new believers, puppet ministry, drama, praise teams, choir,
dance, intercessory prayer, altar ministry, and media are all part of the
efforts to facilitate their growth in Christ.

FAQ’s:
Where do I drop my children off? The Preschool Ministry is located directly behind the
Commons Area and Gym (near the North Entrance/Bookstore area). The Power Source Ministry is located
beyond the Preschool area.
How do I check in my children? All visitors and anyone checking in their children for the
first time should check in their children at the Parent Pager Information
Centers. An "In Slip” will be
printed which must be presented by the parent to the teacher.
How do I pick up my children after service? All parents must receive an "Out-slip”
via the Parent Pager Information Center/Kiosk prior to picking up
children. To ensure the safety of
all children, parents and persons authorized to pick up children must present
an "Out-slip” to the teachers.
Children will not be released without an "Out-slip”.
Our Vision…
The vision of the Power Source Children’s Ministry is to
plug children into the Word of God to release His power into their lives. Training them to minister to others,
younger and older than themselves, is bringing a maturity to the ministry. We believe children receive the Word
readily, but have not been trained for the onslaught of doubt and unbelief they
face from their peers, teachers, relatives, and sometimes even their mothers
and fathers. We must give them the
answers we have found and teach them to seek God with fervency for the secrets
He holds to their destinies. We
want to help other children, children’s leaders and parents come to an
awareness of the way God wants to demonstrate His love and power through children
for ministry now.
